Yung Bambi - Nostalgia (Single)

Heading into last weekend, Yung Bambi dropped off a new record and video titled “Nostalgia” that successfully showcases the transition from melodic crooning to zestful raps we’ve come to be familiar with from Bambi. He supplies enough heart and grit on this Duvin production where you can hear pain and grief vented from start to finish in one of his most passionate records to date.

“Thinking About My Dead Friends, How I’m Lost In That Nostalgia” is a tough line because while many deals with loss in a different way, Bambi is having flashbacks of his close confidants still with him here. He has these memories surface frequently cause that’s where they reside with him, and thinking of a moment he can’t see them again is what breaks him. It's a strong start for the track, and while the upbeat of the production continues forward, so does his mood. Love is a mysterious thing, and Bambi dives into his personal matters on the subject of enduring the torment of past relationships. He can’t seem to shake the past, which can also affect his future. He’s gone this long to not dwell on tragedy but instead work for a better tomorrow. The visual draws out his calm demeanor while he’s draped up in a Buc-ee’s tee that showcases Austin in his background, thanks to the assit by Morty Zapata. Bambi is flourishing with growth on this record especially seeing his time as an artist at the starting stage; he’s risen with taking his creativity and artistry to a whole new level.

I’m excited to see what the future has in store for Bambi since he’s never been one to disappoint with the releases. Until more is announced, we recommend you check out both the track and video here while sharing it around on all social media avenues.
