Paris Pershun - Long Live Paris (EP)
After only having two singles for 2020 that impressively made a buzz for him throughout the year, Paris Pershun decided to get a start on 2021 with a 2-track EP titled "Long Live Paris." I hope it helps gain some attention to begin a series of releases to see more frequently this year.
The cover art is a sketch of Paris P, which means we're about to get some art formulated in a pleasant manner that will keep his blessed aura flexing throughout these two tracks here. Take his first joint, "Paris Pen 2," which is a soul sampled production pasted with Paris's melodic lyricism to reflect his trials and tribulations in his life with other details of the world's aggression that we've been dealing with lately. I don't expect anything less from Paris P, and this goes to show you why he's a veteran in this rap game and one of the best out here doing it still. His second track is titled after the name of the project with a feature from Mz. Fortunate to spill the heartfelt background while Paris goes into his life decisions of referencing his family's troubles and the reason of him still kicking out the raps because this is the way he knows how to vent. I've been following Paris Pershun for years now, and he was one of the artists that I looked up to first started in the music scene. He's still that same person I look up to, and it's because of the music he releases that I can relate to and know what's he's dealing with on an emotional level.
I hope to see more music follow from him throughout the year since it's always wanted, and I know he enjoys pushing his pen game for the listeners to hear him speak his heart out. Nothing but success for Paris, and we hope for you all to take a listen to his EP while sharing it around on all social media platforms.
