1.9.9.9 - Hit The Gas, Vol. 2 (EP)

Always Proper producer 1.9.9.9 followed up his 2020 EP "Hit The Gas, Vol. 1" with Volume 2 releasing at the end of last week. It's welcoming his first drop of 2021 to get started in the right direction by letting the project go off the throttle for a grandeur listening experience that I'm sure many fans will be able to coast through on multiple occasions.

We've gotten more introduce to 1.9.9.9 style of phonk by way of his most recent mixes that leave us very impressed & satisfied. We've found his structure of building up the mix to be worldly transverse, like he's cooking up madness in a tiny bottle, but when uncorked, it's unleashing a massive explosion that set off an atomic reaction. In this recent EP, we see features from Varo, Macswolrd & DJ Yukie providing assistance to some of the mixes where 1.9.9.9 uses the raps of Migos, Juicy J, Tay-K to bring together his gradual masting sound to echelon heights. It always a unique way of meshing these sounds together to be thrashing in nature yet still harmonious. These tracks are the now founded scape of his craft that has him being viewed as a 1/1 rarity for many listeners of this prominent sound to be familiar when they come across his content.

From his last feature on the site to now, we've grown accustomed to his conveying direction that we know we'll see more of it in the upcoming time throughout the year.
