Zo-G & Jus Deno - Project M.U.L.A. (Album)

San Antonio got so many elite lyricists; it's baffling how I can still come across some that floor me; I thought I found all there was to see but boy was I wrong. Zo-G is here to revel but also make you feel his boastfully advanced lyrical exercises that are scattered throughout the entirety of "Project M.U.L.A.," entirely produced by Jus Deno. You can't go wrong when an artist locks in with one producer to craft out a masterpiece, as these two have done here. It's party music for the sophisticated if you ask anybody with a brain.

"Nail me to the game, I feel like I'm Jesus Christ," immediately feeling himself & letting you know that this was always destined to be. He literally made a record that'll have the churchgoers going crazy, indulging in all their deepest impulses, vices, sinful as can be with no apologies but able enough to wash away those same sins. The Holy Spirit is right inside you from the jump, doing Tai chi on the kicking "Ascension Japan," it's "Ready, Set, Go" at all times for the eye-opening lyricist. You are going to see him whenever he's coming as long as that "Rose Gold Pendant" remains polished enough to reflect that sunlight eternally.

He's keeping his foot on these rappers like he killed a roach & that's right, the people who don't value the skill it takes to participate in this game will never do anything other than get in the way of people who really do this. They're just insects, liable to get squashed once thrown into the lion's den. This is the "Upper Echelon" of MCing, either you "Be Great" or be gone before you know it & let's just hope we get more from these two in this new year, till then, opening up your third eye, get "High" then lost in the haze.
