Hyndrix - Tony Atlas (EP)
At the top of the week, Dallas emcee Hyndrix released an EP named after the Black Superman of wrestling, Tony Atlas, that had 7-track titled after hall of Famers & finishers in wrestling circuit. The project has a body slam of lyrical suplexes & frog splash of greatness that became a release this week with plays and support from many hip-hop listeners in the scene.
Entrance as grand as The Undertaker's debut, Hyndrix showcases the armory is his rhyme scheme filled with soulful cadence and combative lyricism that has him being one of the most dangerous artists behind the mic. Tracks like "Mr. World" give you a fresh breeze of excitement when hearing the surgical wordplays and the crisp tone behind Hydrinx ambiance. It captures a timeless record in the making which you could say the same for the other tracks on the tape that bunch together with diversity sounds, kind of like the resume of Tony Atlas, who moved in multiple circuits of wrestling but became a household name wherever he stayed. His New World Order lineup is fierce with artists like Viracocha Mendoza, Coach Tev, B. Anderson, Alaun Deonte & Sincerely Esco. They deliver a violent nature of expressive raps to the project, that hits like a triple powerbomb mixed with a Dudley death drop that should send out a message to weak hearted in not tiptoeing in the direction of these elite emcees.
Swanton Bomb into this miraculous release by Hyndrix, who deserves much recognition and respect in the hip-hop scene here in Texas and throughout the globe. It was indeed a great listening experience that I think many people can get hooked on to no doubt. If you haven't had a chance to peep this latest tape from Hyndrix, be sure to stream it here and share it around on all social media avenues.
