Jake Lloyd - Lloyd Pack (EP)

Captivating & astounding are just a few of many words to describe Jake Lloyd's latest EP "Lloyd Pack" that is becoming a personal favorite of mine after enjoying days of it taking over my listening schedule. Jake Lloyd's impressive nature in building a diversity sound with intriguing features relies on his vocal adaptation to his storytelling abilities that make this wondrous project a seminal work of art.

Jake Lloyd starts off this EP with his fan-favorite record titled "Crossroading" that sounds like a ballad drawn from inspiration from artists like John Legend & Prince. He shapeshifts his vocal integrity with roaring velocity as he begins with a soft tone sound before uplifting it with a passionate shout that cements this record to a beautiful introduction. "Smoke & Mirror" is a harmonious psalm that will trigger your soul with the Holy Spirit that feels like it's in attendance during every minute of the track playing. The anchor joint is titled "The Pass" that mimics the complexity vision of 1/2 of OutKast, and with Jake inhabiting an expansion of wild consequences in this record that puts you in the forefronts of the story. It'll have you enduing a theatrical audio experience with this riveting tale about being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Jake Lloyd captures a moment here with this EP that I'm sure many others will fall into deep transcendent when hearing it. KUTX 98.9 made him their artist of June, and with going in-depth to enjoy every second with this project, I can see why and applaud them with the recommendation that found his music our way for an introduction to the site that will surely be one we remember.
