Blu & Exile - Miles (Album)

It’s been eight entire years since “Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them” because these two are another example of artists only putting music out when they have something worthwhile to discuss throughout an album. At last now, “Miles: From An Interlude Called Life” is a testament to their longevity in hip-hop.

With a title paying homage to the legendary Miles Davis, his spirit is felt throughout this impeccable 20 song project, not just because of the constant shoutouts placed throughout. Don’t let it’s length prevent you from listening, this album is one of the more beautifully potent records you’ll hear all year, it’s quality & quantity combined.

This album encapsulates everything we’ve grown to love about the two cultural pioneers; these two treat their musical history with such delicacy. The duo’s chemistry is ever so present throughout its relaxing vibes & massively dense lyricism, it doesn’t get more powerful than this.
