“Windows” is peak Khali; if you’re a fan of that heartfelt reminiscence, his introspection emits on tracks like “Rolling Stone” then this record is for you. The pain, anguish & triumph is ever so present throughout the meditative number that’s running up numbers for him & rightfully so.

Music as such becomes more beautiful the easier it connects with people, people want to hear about you, they want to know what you’re feeling, what pain you’re feeling, what you’re going through, or have gone through anecdotally, not so much cause they’re nosy. Still, when you’re this open, you’re now on a level playing field with your fans & Khali proves that time & time again no matter how high on a pedestal they put him.

With an accompanying, simplistic yet one on one, conversational music video, shot by fellow SA native, Clutch Hopkins, the connection felt more. It’s beautiful that he is so willing to let people into his world like this, time & time again.
