Southside Hoodlum - Orange Tape (Album)

After months of teasing his anticipated follow up to "Korner Store" with the release of visuals reaching past million view threshold, Hoodlum began to work on the finishing stages of his sophomore album titled "Orange Tape." He locked himself & Saint in the studio to seal in the final tracklist, which days later the album found itself on streaming sites with his expansion fanbase blowing up the project on it's first few days to iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap charts at #35 which is an accomplishment most artists can’t say they achieved.

Hoodlum enlisted Big Tex Johnny on 90% of the production on the tape with assistance from TyDy Beats & Saint engineering the entire project with excelling pace that made this project flourish with the Southside sound constructed by these legends here. Two features only on the album with FastMoney Knotts & Eastside Fish plugging into fan-favorite joint "50 Rounds" among the other tracks that were heard on released videos beforehand. It was good to see those tracks surface since many fans were requesting the audio for such hits like "Hustle" & "Walk In" to be available for their listening experience. Hoodlum converted his hustle mentality to music & pledge it with a series of ebonics that has shifted him to currently being one of the most recognizable figures in rap representing our city. With the amount of support he's been collecting over the years, he continues to see a positive reaction to the release of his album only goes to show that dedication & hard work pays off in the end. Here we get to see greatness endured right in front of our eyes with his craft.

Hoodlum has already mentioned that a new visual will be following up later in the week to possibly a track off the project or something brand new. He has hinted that he & Big Tex Johnny have another album in the works, so this could be the first half of a track already heard with the second track being something unreleased for the upcoming untitled album. Be on the lookout for that, and hopefully, more surprises will surface as well, maybe even some merch & psychical copies of the project to be released. These are just speculation, but we like to try at least and take a guess once in a while.
