After hearing about lilcutoffjeans opening performance at the teejayx6 show back in January, I was really hoping music would follow after and to see it finally happening puts a smile on my face. At the beginning of February, lilcutoffjeans decided to release a track off his upcoming project “Death Rider” & it would be one featuring his Series alumni Cush and behind the production Bison who delivers a crisp slow burning joint titled “Jordan Slides” that beacons a thrashing tune on what we can expect to see from lilcutoffjeans in the near future.

Conducted with the precision of Bison’s production, we get a laid back track that is clustered with verses that are memorable with relaxing features from lilcutoffjeans especially tackling the ambiance provided throughout the track . Adding in the conscious wordplay with Cush who commends to torch any beat his vocal presence applies pressure on, brings me back to the times when I got to see these guys make classic rap packs and now seeing it mixed with the growth they’ve endured makes it the best of both worlds.

I pray we don’t have to wait long for more music from the trio to be available and then await the follow up to be the release of “Death Rider” to surface in the near future.
