The self-proclaimed “Marbach Baby,” Kerst Garcia is back with another visual treatment to his “MarbachBaby Project,” released earlier in the year. The Carolyn Rodriguez assisted cut “Let You Know,” & that’s what the two set out to do here. Let you know that people are just out to get you. Still, they need to know that they will never be able to keep him down bad forever, especially when all he clearly wants is to better himself so he can be there for his woman.

It’s a shame to see so many husbands ripped away from their wives & families & how we’re just conditioned to not be empathetic enough to pay these men any mind & to believe that they have the ability to turn their situation around. Like their mistakes define them, it’s powerful to see him showcase this harsh reality & how it affects the woman who’s left there alone, writing to him, sometimes not even able to or allowed to communicate at all. It has to be rough, but if the love is real, both will remain faithfully down.

We hope to see more work from Kerst in the future, especially more Carolyn Rodriguez collaborations cause the two just got dope chemistry together. Almost like the new era of Dope House, but that isn’t the only message being pushed. He has a positive, uplifting message to share with you as well as the dope bars of brash bragging & menacing threats; man’s gotta protect what’s his & hopefully, she can hold it down till he gets back home with a new sense of purpose to never find himself back in that cell.
