Treylen - Home 4 Tha Holidaze (Single)

It's exciting to see our very own Frank Wavez get behind such a new exciting talent in Treylen, who has had an outstanding year with the two releases he's offered us thus far. More is expected to come out of the monotoned emcee, but until then, he's coming back "Home 4 Tha Holidaze," & it's not your standard Christmas record. There's no flip of an old jingle; Saint Nicholas ain't going to be on the remix, none of that, it's just Treylen doing what he does best, the same nonchalance found throughout his self defining "A Hippie in Tha Hood" album.

Treylen just wants to roll it up & smoke it up for a familial get-together. The year has been rough for all of us, so he's making the best of it & taking stock of what's truly important in life & just living in the moment. Rather than worrying about the next day, he has all his people around him & they're just blazing the same way he is through this relaxing little number. He's reflecting on the Christmases he's had before all up to now, he's never sounded so appreciative.

Reminiscing always puts our favorite Hippie in the mood for the holidays; it's another year wrapped up, one full of many setbacks but more accomplishments than anything with only more waiting just to be fulfilled by him. You can't label this Christmas music or weed rap. This record is Treylen, hood hippie music for the real thinkers, so light up that Christmas tree, beautiful double entendre, by the way, & just kick back with loved ones & cherish the moment.
