Steelo Foreign - Hardball (Video)

It’s not unusual for Steelo Foreign to hit home runs; he’s been doing so with his singles since early 2019, whether it be behind the lyrics or the production. Still, “Hardball” being his 4th single this year, we know an album is inevitably coming & whatever he may have lost on the swings in the past, he more than gains back here on the roundabouts as he’s come to bat one thousand.

Steelo flexes his lyrical muscle here, firing off auto-tuned tinged bars at anybody hating on his undeniable swagger & staggering bravado as he nonchalantly weaves through the minimalistic production ever so gracefully. Offering a barrage of braggadocio that’s bold & brash, though subtly, as can be, he has to go hard for his home team.

One can only hope we get this album soon enough, possibly sometime within the new year, but at least we got five singles from another promising artist in the work to make this year just a little better. We must acknowledge his dope contributions to the mundanity of this year & as long as he can keep this same flavor throughout his debut album, maybe he won’t be so foreign to the landscape of the world.
