Yesterday I was excited to see that an album from XV, who took a long hiatus away from music, was released with an alert from all music lovers who enjoyed projects such as Vizzy Zone, Zero Heroes, Everybody’s Nobody, 40 Days & 40 nights with many more in his catalog that definitely made many people fans of what is now labeled as the backpack era. Served up in 10-tracks, “The Dude With The Strap Back Dad Hat” is a delicious welcome back offering to the masses as XV has not his touch of complying bars upon bars that takeoff in a setting of pure musical bliss. Astounding production with features from talents like Khovu, The Crushboys, Anjie. B, Endlyss, and Freddy High, set the mood out gate with XV explaining his absences including new sounding verses that are reaching new heights where you can only applaud his entrance back into the world that never forgot about him. I’m hype to see what is next for XV, will we be seeing visuals from tracks off the album, will he be gearing for a tour or will he seek new endeavors in music. Whatever is it we hope we don’t have to experience another set of years without him, we wish him success and nothing less in his journey.
