Don Welch - Melting Pot (Album)
During our time at Leon Shannon release party on Friday, we were introduced to artist Don Welch who we spoke with the whole night on different topics such as his craft, his views in music and his most recent work that happened to just have been released two week ago titled “Melting Pot” where he gave a few words of what to expect and best believe the more he talked the more excited I was to hear it so when I finally headed home you know I had it in rotation ready to share with it our followers that I know will enjoy it as much as we currently. One main thing that may cross your mind when your first hear Don Welch is that he sounds similar to Yelawolf which to me off first hand I had more of a different view to that such as voice wise I can definitely hear it but substance wise I enjoyed more of Don Welch’s craft since he had more flavor to his sound and made a deeper connection with his content that you can definitely hear the levels he’s reaching which even when you speak with him you get a presence of artisty at its finest where it’s beyond music that you can hear the genuine sound in his vocals that he express new forms of creativity so we’ll, that this 11-track album had me shooked from start to finish where that doesn’t happen often but when it does I cherish that s**t and remain supporting it at every moment I get. I highly recommend for y’all to check out the album below via Apple Music and just listen, you definitely catch yourself enjoying it again and again. (trust me)
