Doeman - O.B.E. (Album Review)

O.B.E. (Outer Body Experience)

First off shoutout to the homie Doeman and his team DYNA I've personally got to work with them when they came to San Antonio for a Scoremore show I was working at and all of them humble for being such a success collective and that's what I love to see so I salute that. Now let's get to this O.B.E. album that I jam at ignant levels all the time with such lyrical force and amazing production from the likes of Daud Leon, Yung Knight, Fanobee, Grime Knocks, I.V., Ace One & Nate Coop. First track off the album is  "O" and is perfect way to introduce Doeman as the lyrical Titan he is, second track "U.F.W." speaks very strongly to me because this is an Hispanic emcee who's putting on for the culture also very nice homage to late Latin artist Sèlena & Big Pun (RIP). I was heavy influenced by No Limit growing up so seeing this track being titled "No Limit '91" I knew I was fuck wittit 100 & Doeman did not disappoint (salute). "Waddup Luv?" is the that track that I'm gonna play for future wifey no doubt, this that track you play for that one girl to make her feel special forreal. Now we get to the interlude titled "Illusions" and this once again is another example why nobody fucking with Doeman. Now this "American Me" track is too tough, like one of my favorite tracks to jam downtown and just cruise. Very powerful track and personally my favorite from Doeman is "B", cause dude puts his blood, sweat and tears in all his music and you can hear it in this track that these are the people he does it for and I respect that. "FWMN" (Fuck With Me Now) first of all jams in the whip and second is too real. Woooo "The Genocide" is too flames bruh like dude had to let the beat breath then destroys it with ease. "Hip-Hop" one of the greatest things to me and basically Doeman explains what Hip-Hop means to him also a dope track to hear live. "The Soul Of Mind" feat Souls Of Sherif...off that you know this track is gonna have SOUL & that's what makes this track very unique (shoutout to Sherif). Now "B" being a track I really liked and to see "E" continued sharing the same vibe is proof that this man is greatness. This track "Tha Man" is toooough and I mean from the beat to the lyrics this shit flys bruh forreal. Now the bonus track "Son Of Jesus" fits very well with the rest of the album so I'm glad to see it on here and very powerful lyrics that I can relate to some way and I guess that why I hold Doeman as great artist  to such as Nas, Black Thought, Big Pun.

Such a great album from a great artist, Doeman I hope to hear more shit like this in the future which I'm sure I will (salute brotha)
