Tay Money’s tour lands at The Parish in Austin
Sunday night, Tay Money performed in Austin, TX, at the newly renovated Parish to continue her 15-city tour to promote her latest album, “Girls Gone Duh.” You’ve seen her performances in cities like Atlanta, Memphis, New Orleans, Dallas & more by way of her & her manager, Q Taylor’s Instagram feed, and in them you can see her showcasing her many stylish wardrobe & color-changing hair that was a highlight of her stage presence out on tour. The Tay Money army lined up outside The Parish, with many fans already showing much excitement to see the Dallas-raptress live and others were preparing to look their best to see Tay while reciting her lyrics as they waited in line.
As soon as doors opened up, fans hit the barriers by the stage, hoping to be as close as possible to seeing Tay, while others gathered on the high-rise to see a much broader look of the show. The show started with bubbles creating an ambiance while trap music played in the background, and you instantly knew this show was about to be excellent. The first artists up were Knice & Thankyoutress, who set the stage ablaze with their charisma and flooded the Parish atmosphere with crisp dollar bills that were used more than once during the whole show. After they got off stage, Miss Jaywalk twerked up a storm on stage that bought so much life to the sea of women who were following suit in the crowd. The place was roaring with female empowerment at this point, and it only got better as the night went on. Next was Tokyo Vanity, whose stage presence was so electrifying from beginning to end; she kept her stage time lit and even welcomed some twerkers on stage with her that were shaking ass till the very end of her set; an incredible highlight of the night for sure. After Tokyo, Sally Sossa then took the stage and bought every ounce of showmanship to her excellent 15-minute performance. From showcasing her sensual side to her more personable side, the stage was hers, and she did the damn thing to make everyone in attendance know her name. Being introduced to these artists on the same night was a gift to us and one that we cherish greatly. Without any introduction, just the flick of the hands from KyleGotTheCannon on the turntables & his signature tagline roaring in the Parish, Tay Money was live on stage and got to put on a show for the crowd to remember. From her slim thick figure to her beautiful blue hair, Tay Money felt the crowd's energy and made sure they knew every time she started rapping. She went through hits like “Tay Money,” “Bussin,” “Trapper’s Delight,” & her recent tracks off her latest album like “Asthma Pump,” “Fake Love,” & “The Assignment.” Tay even shared her stage time with Louisiana artist Sexyy Red who had accompanied her the night before in Dallas and bought her to Austin to share the spotlight with her.
Tay Money finished off the night by thanking the crowd for showing her and her team immense love in all the years she’s been working and reassuring them she plans to go even harder in the upcoming years ahead. We’ve gotten the opportunity to see Tay performing on many different occasions, and it’s never a dull moment; this was another successful night for her and her team, and I’m sure they celebrate that night on another successful tour run. You’ve heard it from her, and you're going to hear from us, do not ever miss a Tay Money show; if you want to see some ass shake on stage and the crowd go hard, then do not miss another Tay Money show.
