The show began with the host, Smooth Vega, introducing hometown hero Angel Cintron. The crowd settled down briefly after Angel's set to get refreshments, but the excitement quickly built again when it was announced that Louie would be hitting the stage. As soon as he appeared at the front of the Aztec Theatre, the crowd roared with excitement to see the “Desperado” crooner in the flesh. During his set, he welcomed Chris Perez to play guitar and had Frankie J join him for a duet that fans were raving about.
