RICH - Farewell Welfare (Album)
At last after months of showing previews & growing expectations for his first full-length project, Rich finally released his debut album" Farewell Welfare" that prevailed on it's first day out with praise & support, where since then, the timelines on social media has been flooded with the Artwork showing appreciation that's been occurring all around the city, including outside Texas throughout his first release week.
With production steaming in from producers like Duvin, Big Tex Johnny, LandonJP & more, we get the unexpected chance to hear Rich in a diverse range that gave this project it's essential sound. Starting with the intro, that was the titled after the album name; you can listen to how it was built around Rich's charismatic tone as he begins to swiftly list off his pros & cons that he's dealt with in his past lifestyle to his present placement. Reaching into tracks like" Trapkumbia God" or" No Deal," we can hear the slight sounds that mimic the SP Mex especially when catching lines “Chopper In The Truck Pop Truck & Get Wicked, Clips Like A Movie But This Shit Is Not Scripted" with the cool resemblance showcasing that Rich has shifted in creating his unique ripple effect while showing respect to those that did It before him. Rich has completed a worthy accomplishment with the album that I caught off first listen, with the production being massive on the background of the tracks if you listen to every word spoken he's venting the way he knows how & while every line you hear may feel like he's not telling it. Listen closely as this is an artist who puts his heart on his sleeve and spits his soul into the album that is his story (history).
Put all the differences that he has said in the week leading up to his project and give it a listen. We take no sides in anything, but at the end of the day, we're here for the music and to support everyone from our city doing it. Personal issues need to be handle personally, and I'm sure they will in due time. Be sure to continue streaming the album here while sharing it around on all available social media avenues.
Bonus: After just minutes of us completing the post about Rich's album, he didn't waste no time in releasing the Cameron Nicolas-directed visual" Trapkumbia God" that he's already preparing for it to reach 1M views in the first month. Let's hope he's able to reach that, and while enjoying the album, you can dive into a few looks to the new video drop here.
