Aye Cue - The Play Palace (EP)

The hilarious banter between artist & fan on “Meet Gwalla” which then moves into the whimsically drippy zaniness, celebrating independent women on “Only Got Fans” and possibly stating that he has more female fans than male and that any male fans of his just may get they girl stolen from them.

Hopefully, now speaking to these male fans, she ain’t twerking til she can’t no more on, well to “Direct Deposit” though she probably is and not just cause she knows she’ll get some of that direct deposit, maybe, Aye seems REALLY about his paper but his bravado seems generous enough to assume.

While last year found SA mainstay, favorite, native, the man, the myth, the legend, the legendary, at least soon to be legendary Aye Cue dropping off his playfully exuberant magnum opus “The Playbook”, here we get what could be three addendums, bonus cuts to said opus & we couldn’t be more grateful but still hoping that this is the start of something new, something even fresher than the freshness he already exhibits.
