Chip Tha Ripper - Gettin’ It

In the middle of March, Chip Tha Ripper released a new self-produced track titled “Gettin’ It” that delivered his signature cadence to pull up with a heap of heat that channels the progression he’s endured throughout the years to be the OG he is today.

With being a long time fan of Chip, I’ve heard him from the beginning of his career and kept up with his work very closely with even continuing to be kept up with his work now where I can hear the growth transpiring from all these years especially with paying homage the way he does from reciting the moment in his time of being ahead of the scene and now viewing it in this period of being successful. He has ambience to his sound that provides a relaxation factor with including rhythmic poise in his rap schemes that is still battled here to be one of my favorites in hip-hop.

I enjoyed this latest joint as well as his last which was also self produced, hopefully with the release of this latest track & LRG collaboration he might have a project in the works that could be seen during the set quarantine period.
