Alex Saintlouis - 90’s Baby (Album)

An nostalgic avalanche was bestowed upon my listening ears last week when I was introduce to Alex Saintlouis by his recently release album titled “90’s Baby” that combines rhythmic verses & the favorites among 90’s cartoon that will keep a bowl of cereal by your side while your glued to the project like it’s Saturday morning.

Produced by Fool’s Paradise, the 8-track project breaks down the intro to each title track with the original theme music then delivering an homage to each cartoon with sensational sounds of lyrical impressions and melodic crooning that will be taking you down memory lane. Perfect example starts with the intro where it sounds like you flipping through channels looking for your favorite TV show which by sheer luck happens to be mine, Alex begins to express high energy verses about the trio of jawbreaking finessers that happen to be the three Ed boys that creates a mischief feeling joint that includes a feature from Trap Marley on the track making it an achieving sign right out the gate. In other instances throughout the project, Alex astoundingly complies a breakout piece of artistry in his craft especially in joints like “Fairly Odd Parents” where he grows his presence behind his keen craftsmanship to exciting heights and when slowed down he can still balance out the melodic drive that you hear in “Jimmy Neutron” that showcases the pedigree of his sound that is perfectly held graciously throughout.

A true 90’s Baby, Alex Saintlouis really caught my attention with this project and from the looks of his timeline on Facebook it’s safe to say that the masses enjoyed it as well. The year will be sight to see for this artist and we wish him more positive attention to come his way. If you haven’t had an opportunity to check out the album yet, we recommend you do so by streaming it down below while sharing it around on all social media avenues.
