Worldwide - San Antonio/Nawf East (Video) Dir By Alejandro Montoya Marin

There are music videos & there are short films. Music videos bring out the creativity in the initial track that feels like it’s coming to life and short films are characteristics that get build up to tell more of story about the actual track.

Worldwide & director Alejandro Montoya Marin up the echelon with this release here.

Worldwide had been quiet for the first half of 2019 until the middle of the year when he released the follow up project “Castles Made Of Sand 2” that sparked attention towards his way for a period of time before going dark. Now being the person that I am & knowing Worldwide, I wasn’t fooled by this I knew something more would make it’s way out since Worldwide is the blueprint for planned surprises and I can’t front...this surprise caught me off guard.

Off his Castles Made Of Sand 2, Worldwide released the theatrical experience that is “Nawf East/ San Antonio” to wonderment eyes that held praise to the highest magnitude of Hip-Hop fans everywhere. Taking a page from Paul Verhoeven’s Total Recall, Alejandro Montoya Marin was able to break out from any resemblances of the film and craft it into his own vision by taking an enhance look into bewilderment pedigree and captivating on all factors. There were times that had me feeling like they really shot this in the future, the stupefaction of it all gave me Stanley Kubrick flashbacks in an astronomical viewing that is timeless like the space above us. The fact that “San Antonio/ Nawf East” was use to bring this depictions of phenomena to such lengths has me tripping. It’s rare that I’m flabbergasted by content but Worldwide made what has to be the best video to come out the city and I’m not saying it could be or it might be, what I’m saying is THAT IT IS.

The part I’m enjoying most about it all, is that just only a few days of being release it’s already at 9.4k views that I can see being at least 20k by the end of the month that is based off the strength of support and enjoyment people felt for this theatrical odyssey. If I could have an applause be triggered right here as I write this I would, I can’t stress enough of how proud I am to see this accomplishment in my city. Worldwide you are legend here before this came out and you will be forever an icon, a mentor and an represented idol here in the city. Many more blessings your way and Alejandro Montoya Marin, the next James Cameron, job well done. Be sure to continue running up the views down below and make sure to share the video on all available social media platforms. (SALUTE)
