Kurt Lie93 - The Obsidian God (Album)

YGNE x Blackshxxp’s artist Kurt Lie93 released his debut album “The Obsidian God” in the second week of September that unleashed a series of captivating verses and smooth wordplay that painted a scenery of what the future holds for the rising emcee, we got to see a glimpse of his artistry with the release of YGNE’s album that dropped a few months back but to see him in a solo path will really set the spotlight to his signature craft.

Soul searching in sixteen tracks, Kurt takes us through the solar systems as he expresses an exotic vision into the sky, past the clouds that has nightlife lit up with stars and space at the end of the day. His tale of hustle and gratitude is spoken with scientific style bars that compliment his mind state past the planets and asteroids. He showcases his ability to be subtle with his craft especially with joints like “Vesta” & “Moros” that give off a slow vibe feeling but moving forward throughout the project you get hit with a wave of constellation from tracks like “Venus” & “Mercury” that shed new spoken glory to his already built presence in the album.

I was very much intrigued with what I heard in the album and really hope to see much attention grow from his art since he is definitely a shining example of what San Antonio artists have to offer. I recommend for y’all to peep the new released album up above via Apple Music while sharing it around on all social media avenues. (Salute)
