281neek - 4 The Ones We Love (Album)
Last week, Lil Jay had introduce me to an artist who goes by 281neek where I had some time to speak briefly with him about his newest content and his recently released album “4 The Ones We Love” in which you told me to listen to it on the ride home and I would enjoy every moment of it.
Now I’ve been told this on many occasions when meeting an artist and have been left disappointed since I didn’t like what I heard but here with 281neek this was not the case, I drove around the city listening to the album and paying attention to every word spoken like it was poetry to the soul and found myself visioning every song like it was being storytelled by a higher source. I felt lifted with each emotion that was delivered remarkably well and had my fullest attention of seeing it hit the site where I can introduce others to this greatness.
Dig away in 10-tracks that will have you crawling for more, 281neeks supplies an agreeable level of content in his music that makes it clear as crystal that he is in his own lane. From the introduction track, “Big Brodie”, he pours his heart out for the listeners to understand where his mentality is at, then whisking away to such hits as “In-N-Out & “Wrong Side” that build more momentum in his craft and finally with joints like “November 8th” that breaks down his wordplay and keeps you on your toes of paying attention to each word given.
I will for sure be keeping 281neeks on our radar moving forward since he has something remarkable that I think others should know about. I leave y’all here with the link via Apple Music for you to check out the project and be moved like I was. (Salute)
