Adam Rene - SadBoy(Album)

The anticipated second full length project from San Antonio’s own Adam Rene “SadBoy” is finally here. This album offers a more grown themed music from his first one as you can hear from the growth over the time from the last project and now. Straight from the jump the album title is what you expect it is and so much more. It is a journey through the emotional psyche with some smart writing and amazing productions. The first track “SadBoy” opens like popping in a tape and has a very somber mood to it. This whole album touches on embracing the love you get and knowing what is love lost. This is a really amazing project filled with some memorable songs. Now some of my favorite stand out songs is “Reasons” with its party vibe production, but underneath it, it has a different tone and makes this one of the memorable tracks to listen to. Keeping on with some of the highlights of the album “Her” is another gem featuring an amazing artist from Austin, Bomani Ray Barton. Adam kills it on not just singing but rapping some sick parson it and then finishing it off with an awesome guitar solo from Bomani. “Red Ivy” is a banger for real ! Reek is a featured artist on this track and i gotta say id like to see some visuals for this track because it would be a shame if we didn’t see any. These are my memorable tracks from Adam’s 12 track full length project.
