Chris Yonge - Intro(Album)

Toronto’s own Chris Yonge dropped his album “intro” a couple of weeks ago and it took me a while to digest the whole album. Usually we would take a few days to get a review down but this one is special. Ive been streaming this album non stop while i am at work and driving to and from school and whenever i got free time. Not many album can do that to me and the reason is that there are so so many relatable songs in this album. From the song “Capricorn Balance” where he contemplates his state of mind and blames people for his pain and the distrust he has with people and the self realization that he can overcome. This tracks speaks to me on so many levels and also cause i am to a Capricorn. In the track “Sometimes” he hits on the a moody and almost somber tone in this one, that really hits a part of the mind that we may have gone thru in one point in time on our lives. Although it has a somewhat gloomy tone theres so much one can learn and uplift themselves with. The track “Funeral” is dope track that is like a celebration of life more than anything a really dope concept and a track i constantly have on repeat along with the track “Shine”. This song is such relaxed and a track i would sing the hook to to my girlfriend on a daily basis lol. Chris Yonge has definitely made a solid album that touches the soul, heart and mind by touching on several topics we all go thru in life and shows us we are not alone and we can all shine together. I urge you all reading this to gives this album a listen and just close your eyes and listen. You’ll have an experience that you have never felt.
